Reverse Logistics and Customer Returns Processing Partner Required

A consumer equipment brand is seeking a third-party logistics provider to receive, inspect and process customer and dealer returns. Expected volume is 800 to 1,300 units per month, ranging from small accessories to boxed equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.

The provider should handle receipt, identification, condition grading, photography, disposition routing, repackaging, parts recovery and inventory reporting. Proposals should identify onboarding, receiving and inspection fees, storage, project labour, system integration, turnaround targets and options for liquidation or recycling.

Each return must be linked to the buyer’s authorization number and tracked through a defined status workflow. Inspection criteria, grading rules and disposition approvals must be configurable. Photographs and notes must be retained by item. The provider must maintain inventory accuracy, secure handling and segregation of customer data or devices where applicable. Daily data exchange and exception reporting are required.
