A packaged-food importer is seeking a third-party logistics provider for refrigerated storage and regional pallet distribution. Initial inventory is expected to average 180 to 260 pallet positions, with approximately 35 inbound and 70 outbound pallet movements per week.
The provider should offer appointment receiving, temperature-controlled storage, lot tracking, order preparation, carrier coordination and inventory reporting. Proposals should include receiving, storage, handling and administrative rates, minimum monthly commitments, system capabilities, operating hours and onboarding timeline.

Technical Requirements
Storage temperature must be continuously monitored and maintained within the specified chilled range. The facility must have documented food-safety, sanitation, pest-control, traceability and recall procedures. Inventory must support lot and expiry-date tracking with FEFO rotation where instructed. The provider must define temperature excursion response, inventory accuracy targets, damage reporting, insurance coverage and access to audit or inspection records.
