CNC Turning Supplier Needed for Stainless Steel Valve Components

A valve and fluid-control manufacturer is qualifying machining suppliers for recurring production of stainless steel turned components. The initial package includes eight part numbers produced in annual quantities between 500 and 4,000 pieces, with scheduled releases throughout the year.

The supplier will be responsible for material procurement, CNC turning, secondary milling or drilling, deburring, cleaning, inspection and protective packaging. Quotations should include setup charges, unit pricing by quantity, material assumptions, lead time, minimum releases and capacity for prototypes and engineering revisions.

Components must conform to buyer drawings, revision levels, material specifications and stated geometric tolerances. Material certificates are required. The supplier must maintain calibrated inspection equipment and provide first-article and production inspection records.
