Employee Compensation Analysis Required for Business Planning

[COMPANY] HR team plans to engage a compensation consultant in connection with a need for clearer compensation decision-making. The primary location is Chicago, Illinois.

The anticipated scope is development of salary bands and job levels for the organization. The preferred arrangement is a six-week consulting project, with weekly working sessions.

The selected provider will be expected to support internal pay comparison, salary-band development, and management recommendations.

The preferred provider will state any licensing or data costs, identify required data, describe the methodology, and include a management presentation. Any assigned workers or services must be delivered in accordance with applicable federal, state and local requirements.

Proposals should include service methodology, responsible account contact, pricing structure and any assumptions affecting delivery. A provider able to begin within the requested timeline and communicate consistently will be preferred.

Experience working with growing small and mid-sized businesses is preferred.
